The State of the Art Performance of HAAS-2000:


1) Low stray light
The optical matching of the high quality grating and scientific-grade array detectors is very well after improved by EVERFINE, and by applying BWCT and the modified NIST stray light correction technology, the stray light level of HAAS-2000 can be less than one tenth of the former high-speed & high-accuracy spectroradiometers.


2) Wide linear dynamic range
The improved high sensitivity scientific-grade array detectors have wide dynamic range as comparing with the general ones. And after optical matching improvement, the system has much wider dynamic range. Besides, the SBCT technology largely enhances the linear dynamic range of HAAS-2000 further more.


3) High speed
HAAS-2000 can be used for not only the steady state but also transient measurement of light sources. In the scope of the instrument sensitivity, HAAS-2000 can measure light pulse as short as less than micro-second through its synchronizing triggering function.
The array detectors of HAAS-2000 can measure the entire spectrum simultaneously and the total measurement time can be several milliseconds.


4) High accuracy
HAAS-2000 is designed to meet sophisticated light measurement requirements. The commercial high end array detectors with TE cooler, and the precise diffraction grating are improved to match each other perfect, and the system also features detailed designed optical system and electrical circuit as well as several patented technologies. It has low noise, high resolution, high sensitivity, low stray light and wide dynamic range.


5) High repeatability and stability
There is no mechanical scanning mechanism inside the instrument, and the temperature, changing which is the only possible influence factor is controlled at±0.05℃ by the TE-cooling. The repeatability and stability is superbly high.


6) Compact
HAAS-2000 has extremely robust and compact design due to elimination of moving parts, and as an added benefit, there is no mechanical abrasion so that ensures long life and high stability. This compact design makes it an ideal instrument for applications where portability is needed.

11) The key komponents:  array detector
The scientific-grade high-sensitivity array detector used in HAAS-2000 cost near 100 times as the general ones. The array detector have such features that are superior to general ones:
? TE-cooled: A built-in thermo-electric cooler can reduce the temperature of the illuminated detector chip, which improves the dynamic range by at least a factor of 10, and reduces the dark noise by a factor of 2-3.  
? Back-thinned: Photons need not penetrate deep into the chip in back-thinned array detectors, this gives these detectors a sensitivity that is an order of magnitude better than that of front-illuminated array detectors.
? Binning mode: all pixels in a column are summed electronically. By using the binning operation, the two dimension array detector can be used as a linear image sensor having a long aperture in direction of the device length. This offers significant improvement in S/N and signal processing speed .
? Low readout noise, wide dynamic range and high UV sensitivity with good stability.
